Tires Production Process

The production process consists of 9 key steps. We use the world's most advanced manufacturing processes and production equipment, using first-class factory manufacturing, to ensure that every tire is a high-quality tire.

 

1. Material Testing Raw Material Preparation

Tire production begins with the selection and preparation of raw materials. These include natural or synthetic rubber, carbon black, silica, oils,steel cords and textile fibers vulcanizing agents reinforcing agents, accelerators, antioxidants, and other additives specific to the desired tire properties.

2. Mixing Compounding

The mixing stage involves combining these raw materials in precise proportions according to a proprietary recipe or compound formulation. The resulting homogeneous mixture, known as compound or rubber compound, is then sheeted out for further processing.

3. Extruding

In extrusion, the compound is forced through a die to create continuous profiles like bead wires, apex strips, or tire cords.Compound can also be extruded into continuous profiles, such as bead cores, apexes, or various types of reinforcements, using specialized extruders.Textile or steel cords are manufactured separately and treated with various coatings to enhance adhesion with the rubber compound. Steel cord is produced by twisting multiple high-tensile steel wires together, while textile cords involve spinning and weaving fibers into plies. These treated cords are then stored until needed for tire construction.

4. Calendering

The compound is passed through a series of rollers to form thin, uniform sheets (such as for inner liners, treads, and sidewalls). These sheets are later used for components like treads, sidewalls, and inner liners.We use Comerio Calendering Machine from Italy, which are designed and built with great attention to detail to ensure precise control of temperature, pressure and roller speed. This precision is critical to achieving consistent product thickness, surface finish and material properties.

5Cutting & Component Fabrication

The individual components of a tire are manufactured separately before assembly,Bead WiresCarcass Ply AssemblyTread Application, Belt Construction,Sidewall and Inner Liner Assembly.We used Fischer Cutting Machine from Germany, The cutting machines are known for their superior accuracy, efficiency and adaptability to a wide range of cutting requirements.

6. Forming Building

The actual tire assembly takes place on a tire-building machine, where the various components are assembled in a predetermined sequence. First, the inner liner is applied to the drum, followed by the carcass plies – layers of coated textile or steel cords laid at specific angles for strength and flexibility. The beads, made of steel wire loops, are then positioned at the drum’s edges. Next, additional structural elements like belt plies, apex strips, and chafers are added, followed by the tread and sidewall compounds. We use the industry’s most advanced Krupp Forming Machines from Germany to ensure that each tire has a uniform shape during the molding process.

7. Vulcanization  Curing

Our plants use 212-inch and 188-inch giant hydraulic engineering tire curing presses and 49-51-inch giant all-steel radial tire molding machines. In addition to the giant tire equipment, significantly reduce the time for tire mold changeover, greatly improving production efficiency and product reliability.

8X-ray Inspection

This advanced quality control technique plays a crucial role in ensuring tire safety, performance, and longevity by identifying potential issues that could compromise the integrity of the tire during its service life.

9Dynamic Balance Inspection

Tire dynamic balance inspection focused on ensuring the uniform distribution of mass within a tire-wheel assembly to minimize vibrations during vehicle operation. Properly balanced tires contribute to improved ride comfort, longer tire life, reduced wear on suspension components, and enhanced overall vehicle safety.

 

Mass Inspection

1Manual Inspection

Tires are examined for surface defects, proper labeling, and overall appearance. Tread depth, circumference, and other critical dimensions are measured to verify conformity.

2Tire Uniformity Testing Machine

We used ASTEC Tire Uniformt Testing Machine from USA. TUTM evaluated the consistency of various performance characteristics across the surface of a tire during the manufacturing process. Unlike tire dynamic balancing, which focuses on correcting mass imbalances after the tire is assembled onto a wheel, tire uniformity testing assesses the intrinsic qualities of the tire itself before it is paired with a wheel. These tests are crucial for ensuring that newly manufactured tires meet quality standards.

3Y.MITS Tire X-ray Inspection

Tire X-ray Inspection is a non-destructive testing method used in the tire manufacturing industry to detect internal defects or abnormalities that may not be visible through visual inspection alone.

4Dynamic Balance Inspection

Tire dynamic balance inspection focused on ensuring the uniform distribution of mass within a tire-wheel assembly to minimize vibrations during vehicle operation.

5The Netherlands VMI Tread wear Test

The Tread Wear Test aims to quantify the rate at which a tire’s tread wears down under controlled, repeatable conditions, simulating typical driving scenarios. The test results are used to assign a tread wear rating.

6Noise Analysis Laboratory

A Tire Noise Analysis Laboratory is a specialized facility dedicated to measuring, analyzing, and mitigating noise generated by tires during operation. Such laboratories helping manufacturers create quieter tires that meet increasingly stringent noise emission regulations and consumer expectations for comfort and environmental friendliness.

7Flat-Trac Test System

This testing method allows researchers and engineers to analyze various aspects of tire behavior, such as handling, stability, wear, and noise, without the need for actual on-road testing.

8、 Bead Unseating Test

The Bead Unseating Test is a crucial evaluation procedure conducted on tires to assess their resistance to bead unseating, which is the displacement or separation of the tire bead from the wheel rim under dynamic loading conditions. This test is particularly important for ensuring tire safety, as bead unseating can lead to rapid deflation, loss of vehicle control, and potential accidents.
